We are Antonia and Sasha Basic, the wizards behind the cauldron of Canberra Magic Kitchen.
Canberra Magic Kitchen grew out of us working together and uniting our skills and passions into a perfect marriage of good food and good fun to share with our Canberra community.
Sasha is an agronomist with a passion for organic agriculture. He tends the Canberra Magic Kitchen home garden, producing beautiful organic produce that has not traveled many food miles at all to get into Antonia’s cauldron.
Antonia is a passionate cook who creates meals full of nutrition with complex flavours and the essential ingredient of love. Her food has been described as ‘comforting,’ ‘magical,’ ‘divine,’ ‘beautiful,’ ‘surprising’ and ‘healing.’ It must be said that Canberra Magic Kitchen has grown through the strength of her cooking. Her vegan crepes have become renowned along with her numerous stews, lasagne, risotto, cakes and many other dishes.
